[Book Review] Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry
When I finished reading Misty of Chincoteague, I was torn between deciding whether I would recommend this book or not. After some pondering, I came to this conclusion: it depends. [Book Review] The Black Stallion by Walter Farley
While the bond between horse and boy was entertaining and even enjoyable to read about, I The Black Stallion under people’s radar a bit too quickly. The number of times he mentions “devil” (14 to be exact) and how it’s mostly about horse racing makes me think this book shouldn’t be on any Christian’s bookshelf.
